COVID-19: Preparing your staff to work from home safely
WHO and public health authorities around the world are taking action to contain the COVID-19 outbreak, long term containment cannot be guaranteed. Businesses are now preparing for potential disruption and how to minimise the risk to their employees.
Working from home is not a new concept for many businesses with time taken to carefully plan and implement the right equipment, safely and effectively.
The forward head posture adopted by laptop users is the most problematic issue from an ergonomic perspective. Increased neck pain has been positively associated with forward head posture, as demonstrated in this study published in the Journal of Physical Therapy Science.
With the WHO recommending people to work from home if required, we need to consider how to do this in the safest possible way.

Strong working from home policies can prevent neck and back related issues.
