Planned and conducted a full evaluation of task seating options prior to the procurement of over 700 chairs. The project involved working closely with various stakeholders including senior management, architects and project managers to identify a shortlist of five task chairs. User trials of each chair were conducted and focus groups were undertaken to gain an understanding of user’s experiences. A full evaluation of each chair was provided in a written report which outlined the assessment findings based on five key ergonomic areas; physical dimensions relating to the anthropometrics of users, adjustability, lumbar support, movement (active sitting) and usability. The information provided from the report resulted in the procurement of a suitable task chair across a number of office locations in Australia.
